A biography is a thing that Liverpool born Murphy , singer songwriter of Away With The Fairys, The Flabbey Toads, and other imaginary bands usually avoids as he has never been out to leave any footprints behind after he has departed from this dimension.
After discovering he was a little weird at a very young age he realized that he had no choice but to enter into some kind of world which would allow him to be who he seemed to be.
He found some comfort by joining a local youth theatre at the age of fourteen , finding employment in a community theatre company at the age of sixteen, and later, safety was found for a further three years when he was accepted at the East 15 acting school.
It was here that he met Damon Albarn, the two formed some kind of friendship and they jammed together for some time. At that time Albarns voice had not developed into the crooner la la kind that we all know him for today. Instead Murphy did the singing and leaping against walls. Such was how Music and singing effected Murphy in those days.
At the end of their first year Murphy was invited to drop out of acting school to form a band with Albarn, but Murphy having found some kind of safety behind the walls and Bushes of East 15 declined his offer.
On graduation Murphy moved to Greenwich where in 1991 he was to meet up once again with Albarn, they both resided in the same building for a while, singing along with each other once more in their rooms, and on the balcony of their slum property residence. This was the year Blurs first album Liesure was released.
Later Murphy moved back to Liverpool found work as a drama lecturer , formed a band called "Earth" who gained interest from Sony who came to see them play their first gig at the newly reopened Jackaranda in Liverpool, the place the Beatles first played, and not the Cavern as most people believe.
They where interviewed on Radio city's third degree show with Dave Mason, and then they went their separate ways.
Murphy once again feeling the pressure from normal life moved to Hamburg in Germany, and then onto Denmark where the Band "Away With The Fairys" where formed. They toured around Denmark and played a couple of gigs in England which ended at the world famous Cavern club. All the audience kept on repeating was "Der not from denmarkkk" Questions where asked such as "are you a record industry ploy" whatever that means, to which the answer was "No, he (the guitar player) is a big Beatles fan and he wanted to play here" They were paid thirty pound for the gig and a crate of Bud , we went back to Denmark pleased as punch.
Soon after the band went there own way and Murphy feeling that old pressure once more, retired to his bedroom where he has remained since composing songs under various names, and uploading them to various sites all over the Internet.
He went back to Liverpool last year to see if any one was interested in forming a new band with him, but no one was playing out and running out of funds Murphy once again returned to Denmark.
The above is not entirely true , for a short while he worked as a director / drama instructor at the viborg dramaskole where he directed students in productions of Shakespeare and Arthur Millers Heksejagt (The Crucible )

After this he took a journey to Canada for four months (Grande Prairie Alberta) where he was asked to be a judge for the regional Battle of the bands , and he was honoured to play a live set of his music supported by Canadian musicians in their PEACE BEGINS AT HOME EVENT before setting off through the rockies on his return journey home.
At present he is working on a new CD which may be out in time for 2012 , or Armageddon , which ever comes first.
